Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the daily operations of our accounting department, including month-end closing, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities.
Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, etc.
Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and provide accurate and timely financial information to the management.
Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Ensure compliance with all internal processes and financial regulations and laws.
Coordinate with external auditors and manage company audits.
Develop and manage financial systems and policies.
Train and mentor accounting staff to ensure efficiency and adherence to company policies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
A Master's degree or CPA is preferred.
3
years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably within the service industry.
In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, including experience with budget preparation, analysis, decision making, and reporting.
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and government regulations.
Solid experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and accounting for investments.
Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
