8 Full Job Description Field Service Technician (Boston, Massachusetts) Kelly Engineering Resources has partnered with a growing Biotechnology company experiencing dynamic growth in the greater Providence area (north), on hiring for several direct hire Field Service Technician roles.
These positions offer competitive compensation, dynamic growth potential and a positive team environment.
As a Field Service Technician, you will travel to Customer sites for new installation, training, and other service requests.
Position is based in Franklin, MA.
Responsibilities:
Support in-house, and large automation equipment in the New England area.
Hands-on troubleshooting at the system level.
Perform corrections and repairs as needed.
Perform routine preventative maintenance.
Execute field upgrades for improved reliability.
Utilizes CRM to input and capture all service activity and create service reports.
Utilize a variety of electronic and/or mechanical test equipment.
Qualifications:
Experience in the troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of complex electro-mechanical equipment.
Flexibility to travel to customer sites in New England.
Up to 40% travel is expected, including weekends at times.
Experience with capital/process equipment, automation and motion control systems is a plus.
Must have the ability to manage and meet schedule commitments, and possess good troubleshooting skills.
Attention to detail, strong documentation and record keeping skills are required.
Machine shop experience is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is preferred.
Five or more years experience in the assembly and testing of electromechanical assemblies required.
Experience in the Life Science industry (working with customers in the life science/clinical/pharmaceutical industries, etc.
) would be a plus Additional Information:
