Our team members love merchandising, creative brainstorms, people and of course, flowers and plants! They also aren't afraid to jump in where needed - from breaking down boxes and making deliveries to assisting customers to curate custom gifts or arrangements.
Qualifications:
- About 30 hrs per week - Weekend availability is a must - A car & MA State License is a must - Excellent communication and decision making skills - Working knowledge in Google Sheets & Docs - Working knowledge of Shopify and Canva or other design systems is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Order Management:
Daily review and tracking of open orders, following up with customers as needed and packing and shipment of orders - Flower Order Management:
Tracking of all daily and holiday orders - reaching out to customers to confirm pick up/delivery dates, notes, etc.
- create/maintain spreadsheets for internal reference - manage all orders as being made and picked up/delivered - New Product Management:
Entering new inventory into Shopify systems while regularly reviewing & revising current product listings for accuracy and consistency - Weekly review of incoming orders to avoid sitting product & preparedness for deliveries - Unpacking new orders and ensuring product is stickered for the floor - following up with vendors as necessary.
Merchandising new product displays - Overall:
Ensure knowledgeable about all products in-store so can talk easily with customers and provide trustworthy guidance - Create & maintain relationships with customers - Daily upkeep of store cleanliness & organization - Daily upkeep of product displays & re-stocking items - Merchandising new product displays - Operating the register and POS systems - Following up with customers, emails & the team about any open orders, requests, etc.
- Assist as needed with event florals - processing / assembly / set up / breakdown Job Type:
