4K a year About us We are a small law firm specializing in cival litigation, personal injury law and estate planning.
About the Position We are seeking a Paralegal Assistant to join our team.
This person will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the paralegal duties and responsibilities.
This position will work closely with the Senior Attorney and other members of the firm.
Responsibilities Assist with drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
Maintain and organize files including client correspondence, insurance company correspondence and medical documentation.
Maintain records of all correspondence, including phone calls, emails, calendars, notes, and other files.
Direct contact with clients, addressing clients needs.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Ability to transcribe documents accurately using a variety of software programs.
Ability to write clear and concise legal documents.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities at all times throughout the day.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
