Vaco Boston has partnered with our client, a large, privately held company in Franklin, that is seeking an Accountant to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of journal entries, accounts receivable, and accounts payable adjustments.
Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts Support day-to-day accounting function to ensure accounting activities are in compliance with US GAAP.
Maintain inventory reserves in accordance with US GAAP.
Support the annual external auditAssist with income tax preparationAssist with ad hoc projectsRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
2-4
years of relevant accounting experience.
Knowledgeable in US GAAP standardsExcellent Microsoft Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, etc.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
