Job Description:
Mechanical Inspector:
o Self-starter able to work independently o Responsible for supporting incoming, in-process, and final inspections - focus on machined and assembled mechanical components o Verify product conformance to program specifications, drawings and acceptance tests o Capture all inspection data and supplier data packages in VISUAL Quality Module o Knowledge of test and inspection methodology o Able to properly utilize standard inspection tools; calipers, micrometers, height stands, etc o Support of QMS, AS9100D and CMMI processes o Supports assigned programs in accordance with detailed Quality Plans o Assure inspection equipment used is calibrated o Assist with cable & circuit board inspection as needed Required
Experience:
o Experience working on DOD electromechanical products o Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications o Possess good technical communications and team building skills o Must be able to interface with engineering, manufacturing, program office and configuration management o Ability to problem solve and critically think o Good trigonometry/geometry math skills o Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) IAW ANSI/ASME Y14.

Experience:
o Certified to or knowledgeable of IPC-A-610/620 requirements o Recent experience working in an AS9100 environment o Recent experience operating a CMM Recommended Skills Aerospace Basic Quality System Standards Configuration Management Electromechanics Engineering Geometric Dimensioning And Tolerancing Geometry Apply to this job.
