CME Meetings Manager / Project Leader

Job Overview
Management and oversight of CME/CE meeting planning and execution process in multiple therapeutic areas within healthcare industry. This is a full-time in-house position based in Franklin, MA.
The start date for this position is flexible within April, 2015, but candidate must be available for an orientation/training that is currently scheduled for March 23-25, 2015.
Duties & Responsibilities
Execute processes and procedures required for the successful planning of medical education programs, such as CE-accredited annual symposia and regional speaker programs (physician dinners and Grand Rounds lectures)
Creation, oversight and comprehensive management of timelines for project completion and accountability for timely completion of project goals and reporting
Frequent and effective cross-functional communication with supervisor and support staff to ensure timely completion of tasks
Participate in venue and other vendor selections in connection with client programs, and negotiate contracts
On-site support and program management at client meetings, when required (primarily in-house position with only occasional short duration travel required)
Logistical planning for individual speaker dinners and Grand Rounds during peak periods if planning staff is at full capacity
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of five (5) years direct experience in healthcare or CE-related activity planning
Minimum of two (2) years direct experience in a project manager role
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word , and Excel
Excellent writing and proofreading skills, with a particular emphasis on spelling, as well as uncompromising attention to detail
Outstanding organizational skills and a commitment to professionalism and punctuality
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Outgoing personality and effective interpersonal skills
Willingness and ability to travel independently for business purposes if/when required

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
