Conference Registration Manager

Position
Registration management for corporate meetings and conferences utilizing Cvent web-based software.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of on-line meeting registration, including maintaining registration database and acting as the primary point person for registrant and client follow-up
Assist in the development of customized registration websites
Develop program invitations and confirmations and coordinate mailings and follow-up
Coordinate with meeting planning staff regarding registrant and client requests
Create relevant conference reports for internal and external dissemination utilizing Cvent, Microsoft Word , and Excel
Track and report rooming list information
Prepare post-event summary reports
Track spending related to Sunshine Act requirements for pharmaceutical companies
On-site registration management and supervision of registration/hospitality staff at select client programs
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of three (3) years direct experience managing meeting registration utilizing Cvent software
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word , and Excel
Excellent writing and proof-reading skills, with a particular emphasis on spelling, as well as attention to detail
Outstanding organizational skills and a commitment to professionalism and punctuality
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Outgoing personality and effective interpersonal skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
